Water Table?

This video is long over due... I actually had already forgotten about it until I stumbled upon it on my phone today.  We are still working on the cup!  Unfortunately we have not made a lot of progress since this video several weeks ago.  In time...

In other news... we are REALLY looking forward to seeing everyone to celebrate Ethan's birthday this weekend.  We have been so busy getting ready for it and can not wait to enjoy the occasion with friends & family.  It is definitely bittersweet for me!  Hugs :)

11 Months

We are getting close!  Can't believe the little guy is already 11 months old!  This year is just flying by too fast!  It is really challenging to get pictures of him these days that aren't blurry because he is always on the go.  He is a crawling and cruising machine now!  And he loves to crawl over and under anything!  He takes off giggling if he sees an opportunity to do something he knows he isn't allowed to do (for example, spill Molly's water bowl or go in the bathroom if someone forgets to close the door).  He is talking up a storm these days and feeding himself really well... so well that we may be able to phase out the purees soon.  Right now he hates bath time... which is a bummer because it used to be our favorite time of the day!  I'm sure he will be back to liking it soon enough... Just needs to get used to the big tub.  Change is tough!  I hope the next month goes by slow, but I know that isn't likely since we have a lot to do to prepare for the birthday bash!  Looking forward to seeing everyone next month! 

More Family Fun

Here are a few other pics from our visit to Dallas last weekend.  Ethan got to meet his great great Aunt Angie and Uncle Charlie, but unfortunately we don't have any pictures to prove it :(  We have definitely gotten a little lax with our picture taking lately!

Surgery Day

Ethan had his surgery this morning to get ear tubes and everything went very well!  The doctor said he did perfectly and he recovered very quickly.  This morning after his procedure he was very cuddly and sleepy... and not near as cranky as they told us he would be!

After several naps this morning, Ethan was back to his normal self so we ventured out to run some errands.  Our local baby store was having craft/story time so we stopped in with Ethan since we had to buy a couple of things anyways.  He played with a beach ball, some musical instruments, and painted a canvas!  You would never know he had surgery this morning...
